I went to the casino with the women on Thursday night & I lost big.
I was up about $400 until breakfast time when the women & I went for seafood.
The full belly made me want to gamble more loosely. Instead of playing the nickel slots, I moved to the slots that cost at least 1 quarter for each pool of the handle. I started betting 5 times as much as I was before breakfast & I really went through the money abruptly. I went home at the end of the morning & had to tell my spouse about all of the money that I lost playing the slots. Looked really aggravated when I started telling him about my loss, so I started to blame everything & anything I could think of. I blamed the casino for having tight slots & I blamed my poor luck on being too cold. I told my spouse that the a/c was making me lose concentration because it was just too cold. My spouse did not buy any of the excuses, including the terrible 1 that I made up about the a/c. On Thursday night, I went back to the casino but this time I decided to play in a poker tournament. It was seriously chilly that night too & I was seated under an A/C air vent. Every time I had a fantastic hand, I could not bluff because my hands were shaking. I really did have the a/c to blame for that loss, but there was no way I could use that as an excuse many days in a row.
