All this HVAC cooling is a welcome feeling again
I really never realized just how much I loved where I was from. When I was growing up, all I could think of was getting on out into that big, exciting world outside of my small town. Plus, I was tired of the heat and all the air conditioning. I wanted to go places where it snowed and they had to use things like a gas furnace in order to stay warm in the winter. Well, like I’ve heard all my life, be careful or what you wish for. I sure got exactly what I asked for. The college I ended up attending was up north. This was of course sacrilege to my southern parents who both went to the old southern schools. But my doom room didn’t have an air conditioner. We had radiant heating because that’s all we needed during the school year. I met a girl, got a job and 2 decades flew past with me learning to live with winters and all that gas furnace HVAC heating. But, I’m finally home again. The kids are off to college and my wife agreed to a trade off. We’d now spend our time in the south. We were trading all that HVAC heating for the air conditioning I used to despise. Well let me tell you, I could not have been more happy to make that trade the close I got to fifty. I just couldn’t handle the cold any longer. All this HVAC cooling is a welcome feeling again. While I could do with a bit less heat and humidity during the worst of summer, I’m still much happier back home in the HVAC cooling.
