I have an elbow brace on my right elbow, a back brace on my lower back, and both knees are wrapped with some cold pain gel.
Needless to say, I played some sports yesterday and am feeling a bit on the sore side today.
I think the average age of the players yesterday was around 26 years old, with me being the oldest at almost 56 years old. So that means I was 30 years older than the average player yesterday but still ended up winning almost all of my games. We only lost one game and that was the HVAC techs fault and not mine, who happened to be my volleyball partner and works at the heating supplier store with me. We had one really long rally caught on tape and I really want to see it because there were some strange and crazy plays that happened in a really short amount of time, maybe about 30 seconds only. The local contractor happened to be filming us on that game and he is going to edit it after working for the HVAC business today. I guess we should have some footage tomorrow, which I am a bit leary of sharing on social media because I told all of my friends and family that I quit playing the sport many months ago because of really bad injuries. Right now I am cooling down all my joints with cold gel and then plan on heating them up again with some hot water from the heating device in our kitchen. I will survive, but now I sound like the boy who cried wolf with my injuries.
