When we got married, my wife came to me with a business proposition.
She wanted to open a coffee shop.
My wife loves coffee and since she had worked as a barista while in college, she had the expertise needed to make coffee. On the business side of things, I would help since I already had an HVAC business. We got a building where the shop would be and started the renovations. We had some of the cooling specialists handle the HVAC installation at the shop. We had selected an electric heat pump that would be beneficial even during winter. Cooling equipment that would help with indoor comfort. We also took to the market to purchase the required equipment like the commercial coffee maker and a stove. Together with the coffee, my wife’s store would also offer pastries so an oven was essential to the success of the business. We installed a climate control device that would be possible to program. The latest cooling technology impressed my wife so much, she did not think the cooling industry had grown so much. We had a grand opening a few months later and the queue outside the shop made my wife so happy her face turned pink. The first year was a success, the coffee shop made a lot of profit which only cemented our decision to open a coffee shop. It has been a year and a half and I have scheduled a team of my best cooling technicians to accompany me to the shop to execute a quality AC service on the unit. Though we consider ourselves as a big cooling corporation, we also act as a local service provider and help customers schedule the annual tune-up by my HVAC contractors.
