HVAC Tips for All

I just got a sign for our band made today at a print shop and we will grab it before we head out to the church near the sea to play tonight.

The sign will tell people how to find our music online as we get a pretty big crowd sometimes and I think some of them would like to hear our music now and then.

I’m not trying to get as many followers as possible like some people, as there is no need to shove it down their throats if it is good music. The local business is printing the sign now and waiting for it to dry next to this small electric space heater in their shop. I just want to get our music out there a bit and let the universe take over from there. My friend owns a cooling supplier shop and he wants us to play there for the HVAC reps and workers one day. Tonight we will play for maybe two hours and pack it up, then we will head out again tomorrow to do the same. On Sunday the home services company in town is going to have a party for the heating and cooling technology customers and is going to pay us $250 to do a two hour show for them. Things are starting to fall into place with our music and we just need to keep focused and maintain course like we have been for the past couple of years. I can’t wait to get a new HVAC system for my flat once the money comes in.

New air conditioning information

We lost our power about an hour ago and there is no sign of it coming back on. You don’t realize how much you use power till it has been turned off. Water is also an important resource and when it is gone you really can be in for a rough day. I could have easily used my phone as a hotspot but the battery was dead, imagine that. So now I am going to have to work offline till my power gets turned back on. My space heater is cooling down now and the main HVAC system is worthless. I really wish I would have charged my phone last night but I was too out of it to do so. There is still a little bit of heat coming from the radiant heater next to me but it is soon going to be cold like the rest of us in this house. I wonder why the power went off in the first place? I guess the local business next to me is being worked on by the local contractor and they probably cut a power line or something, and it could be hours till we get it turned back on again. This is fine with me because I can take my phone to a cafe and tap into their wifi for a few hours. My HVAC equipment writing work can be done offline, but using the wifi at a local business would make it a lot easier to get done. I will head down there now to the cafe and do some work there.

Residential HVAC

We just began the month of March and the weather is finally going to start shifting to the higher part of the thermometer finally.

It has been cold here since the start of October and I am ready for some warmer weather.

My hands and feet have been frozen for the past six months and I am ready for them to start thawing out again. I get tired of wearing all of these layers of winter clothes and taking them off and on each time I come home and leave. Summer is nice because I wear shorts and have air conditioning in my flat to keep us all cool. I do a lot less laundry in the summertime and it is a lot easier for me because we have no dryer and I have to hang them on the rooftop. The mini split air conditioner in my bedroom keeps me nice and cool while also keeping the air quality good because of the HEPA filter it has in it. I like how it makes a nice humming sound too, which drowns out the sound of the people partying in the bar next to our building. It can get kind of loud there at night, but with an air purifier and a small a/c unit for white noise, I hardly hear a thing the whole summer season. This year is going to be great because we are going to be playing music a lot and it should be packed here for the summer, so we can make a good amount of money while having fun.

My hubby Jack has been a plumber for almost 10 years now; He runs a small business, where he has 1 part time employee who helps him out during the tied up season! So, needless to say, Jack is pretty much a one-man-team for most of the year, but the business is successful, and he makes a wonderful living at it, but lately he has been thinking about expanding, and recently, he landed a major project from a local construction business who does labor for the federal government! Up until that point, Jack had never thought about applying for government contracts because he believed that his business was too small to be awarded anything, then but now that he has been awarded the subcontract from this construction business, he seems to be interested in possibly applying himself… Personally, I think undoubtedly little about federal contracts… In fact, the only thing I think is that billions of dollars are set aside each year for them. I don’t think if there are multiple contracts that require plumbing services, so that will be something that Jack will need to research, however and if he does find contracts for plumbing services, occasions are, he’ll need some help executing them. This means he would have to hire a team of workers or perhaps gain a few plumbers from a staffing business… Either way, he would particularly need some help, however jack is planning on applying for his first contract once he fully executes his new subcontract. Until then, both of us will do the research to determine if there are federal contracts for plumbing services. I hope that there are some because winning a federal contract is a sure way to grow his plumbing business.

When our heat turned on for the first last year, I heard of mayflies nesting in air duct before.

• I called the Heating and A/C supplier who asked me if I was sure the mayflies had come out of the air duct? They were all over our beach house and hovering on the wall over the air vent in our dining room.

I could not cook because I was afraid they would get into our food, and she told me she had never heard of mayflies in air duct, and I told her welcome to our club. I wanted the air duct cleaned and sanitized, and I wanted to guess how the mayflies got inside. She said she didn’t guess how they go inside, unless there was a crack in the air duct, and the Heating and A/C contractor would need to find that. I felt appreciate I was talking to an idiot. She didn’t have an original thought in her head. I told her to send the Heating and A/C contractor to the house. I would call an exterminator to make sure there were no other creepy crawlies hanging out in the air duct, and then their Heating and A/C supplier could repair, clean, and sanitize our air duct. She was smiling while talking and told me that was smart thinking. She wished she had thought to tell me that. The exterminator was at the beach house the next day, and the Heating and A/C contractor arrived the same day. He called to have the air duct cleaners come to the house. He had found several small cracks in the air duct, however nothing the air duct cleaners could not repair. Within several days, the mayflies were gone, and our air duct had been cleaned, repaired, and sanitized.
