Lately I had been feeling bad about myself.

I was sitting in bed next to my partner and fantasizing about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist.

I felt like I was cheating on him, but there wasn’t a real lady there. I considered talking to my partner about how I was feeling, however I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. My partner was new home that afternoon, and I tried to act as normal as possible when she was talking to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist. I could not even sit to stay outside and see Bill talking to that lady I was jealous that she was the 1 who got to talk to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist and I didn’t. After the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist left, Bill came into the new home and sat down. She asked if I knew the girl had a crush on me? I could truthfully say I had no clue. She told me the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist said she was going to ask me out when she came back. Although I was smiling on the outside, my insides were shaking. Had Bill not been there, I don’t know if I would not have considered going out on that date. I don’t know how Bill knew what I was thinking, however she told me it’s normal to fantasize about other people even if you are in a committed relationship. I realized how much I loved that man.

I asked him if she was going to go to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C school or if she was going to kindergarten? She sat back down and took her position and told me her mommy said she had to go to kindergarten

I was on my last A/C repair last week; the gate that led to the backyard was locked. I knocked on the front door and waited for the owner of the new home to answer. I heard someone yell just a second, when a little girl about more than four-years-old, opened the door. She told me her mommy was playing with soap bubbles, and she was going to show me where the a/c unit was. As she showed me through the kitchen, I saw where her mommy was doing dishes and there were indeed a lot of soap bubbles. When I walked over to the a/c unit, the little girl was behind me. She didn’t say a word, however she sat cross-legged with her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands. She watched with the intensity of someone who was trying to memorize each step. When she didn’t understand what I was doing, she asked me to tell him and show him again. I told him she was a pretty smart little guy, and she stood up and told me she was 5 1/2 and going to school when summer time was over. I asked him if she was going to go to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C school or if she was going to kindergarten? She sat back down and took her position and told me her mommy said she had to go to kindergarten. She said she would rather go to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C school, because it would be more fun. When I told him she got popcorn and they got to play games in kindergarten, she said she would wait to go to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C school after kindergarten.

My sister and I got our smart thermostat at the same time.

• I needed to have a new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system installed, and she had recently bought a new a/c unit.

It surprised me they hadn’t changed her thermostat when she got the A/C unit, but it wasn’t acting up. Within a month of buying the A/C unit, the thermostat broke. She thought there was something wrong with the A/C unit because it quit working. When she found it was the fault of the thermostat, she was relieved. She bought a smart thermostat, not realizing it was exactly like mine. She and her wife Sally came over for supper 1 Tuesday and I saw him looking at my thermostat. I knew she and my partner had discussed it, however I ignore them most of the time. Sally and I were talking about the youngsters while I was getting supper. I was just about to put supper on the table when I realized my a/c wasn’t working. I went to the thermostat, and somehow the temperature had been reset to eighty degrees. I reset the thermostat to seventy-two and we all sat down to eat. The two of us were halfway through dessert when I felt a chill in the air. I evaluated the thermostat and had been reset to sixty-more than four. I was ready to say something to my partner when she and my sister burst out laughing. They realized our thermostats were identical and my sister was using her iphone app to change the temperature. I refused to talk to either ‌of them for the rest of the evening.

Now that we are into July, I knew it was time to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier and have the furnace cleaned and prepared for winter.

The two of us can get some truly chilly afternoons in late July and throughout September in our area. I didn’t want to turn on the furnace and find we had a problem. When I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier, I hoped they didn’t send the same Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist as I had when getting my a/c unit tested in the summer. That Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist was the most enigmatic girl I hadever met. I could not get more than a 1-word answer out of him whenever I asked ‌about the a/c unit. At 1 point, she didn’t even seem to acknowledge that I was talking to him. I walked into the house, and I was sure I heard a sigh of relief come out of her mouth, as if thanking the universe that I was gone. I had met a girl who had very little to say, however she at least answered a question with a direct answer. She seemed to want to hide what she was doing, and I wondered if she would not try to rip me off. I later found out that my mysterious Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist was taxing of hearing. She only picked up half of what I was asking about the A/C unit. Instead of admitting she had a hearing problem, she answered the question with an answer that would suit as long as the question only needed a easy sure or no answer. I knew it would embarrass me if the same Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist showed up to work on my furnace.
