Ever since their girls went to college, my brother’s wife has been driving him up the wall the way that she spoils their dog and cat.

My brother understands that she’s just having empty nest syndrome or something, however the way she treats the cat and dog is just ridiculous! His wife spoils them way more than she ever did any of their girls.

My brother believes that it really drives them deranged too. A week ago, my brother’s wife just went completely over the edge when she called up their local Heating and A/C company to have them come out and put in a special heating and cooling method for the cat and dog’s house in the backyard. My brother told her that this was the craziest thing that he had ever heard of. His wife just looked at him like he wasn’t making any sense. She said that periodically the cat and dog get too frosty when they are outside in their house. She said that it only makes sense for us to put a heating plus cooling method in the house because they need to be just as comfortable as the two of them are inside of their house. My brother rolled his eyes and said to his wife that indoor air conditions just aren’t as big of an issue when you are an animal. My brother’s wife said that that was not accurate at all since the cat and dog deserve to breathe clean air like they breathe inside of their lake house. His wife is even thinking about installing an air purification method in the house! My brother does not know at what point he should honestly put his foot down about this whole thing, although he’s almost at that point.

Since their only child moved away, Ann has been driving Francis bonkers with the way that she spoils their pet.

Francis understands that Ann is just having empty nest syndrome or something but the way she treats this pet is just ridiculous. Ann spoils this pet way more than she ever did with her son. Francis knows that it really drives the animal crazy too. The other day, Ann just went completely over the edge when she called up our local HVAC company to have them come out and install a special furnace unit for the pet in the backyard. Francis told her that this was the craziest thing that he had ever heard of, and Ann just looked at him like he was a crazy person. Ann said that sometimes the pet gets too cold when he is outside in his pet house. She said that it only makes sense for them to put a heating & cooling system in the pet house because he needs to be just as comfortable as they are inside of their house. Francis rolled his eyes and informed Ann that indoor air pollen levels just are not as big of an issue when you are a pet. She said that that was not a fact at all and that the pet deserves to breathe air just as good as they breathe inside of their house. Ann is even thinking about installing an air cleaner in the pethouse! Francis does not know at what point he should honestly put his foot down about this whole thing, but he knows he’s getting close.

When the kids left home, my parents began driving me crazy the way that they spoil my dogs.

They spoil these dogs way more than they ever did their grandkids. I know that it absolutely drives the dogs crazy too. Last week my parents just went completely over the edge when they called up our local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company to have them come out and put in a special heating system for my dogs in the backyard. I told them that this was the craziest thing that I had ever heard of, and they just looked at me like I was the insane one. My parents said that sometimes the dogs get too chilly when they’re outside in the doghouse. They added that it only makes sense for us to put a heating unit in the doghouse because they need to be just as comfortable as we are inside of our house. I rolled our eyes and told them that indoor air quality levels just aren’t as immense of an issue when you are a dog. My parents said that that was not true at all and that the dogs deserve to breathe air just as clean as the air we breathe inside of our house. They’ve even thinking about installing an air purification plan in the doghouse. I don’t know at what point I should absolutely put my foot down about this whole thing, although I guess I am getting close.
