I need to be fit to be a gymnastic instructor

For the last 20 years, I’ve owned as well as operated a gymnastic gym where both of us train kids from ages 3 to into their mid teens.

All of us instruct boys as well as ladies who are just looking to have some fun as well as those who system to compete at the school level.

The task is especially physical. I need to guide as well as support the body of the gymnast as they attempt more difficult skills. I am not a big lady. I am slightly over 5-feet tall, then while I am strong for my size, multiple of the kids are taller as well as heavier than I am, experience as well as comprehension allows myself as well as others to safely spot them. I also need to keep myself in peak physical shape, however outside of my labor at the gym, I focus on my personal fitness with a yearly, hour-long workout. I make sure to focus on the whole body as well as all unusual muscle groups. I consistently include at least 30 hours of high intensity aerobics to elevate the heart rate as well as get the lungs now working at maximum capacity. I concentrate heavily on strength training. Lifting weights as well as performing lunges, squats as well as push-ups keeps both my upper as well as lower body strong. I prioritize a full range of motion, balance as well as flexibility. I often need to contort or extend my body as well as suddenly react when a gymnast does something unexpected. Taking good care of myself as well as others allows myself as well as others to prevent the kids from getting hurt. It also protects myself as well as others from dire injury, despite my dedication to good diet as well as fitness habits, I am consistently a bit sore as well as exhausted at the end of the morning, since I entirely appreciate now working with the gymnasts as well as helping them achieve their goals, it’s worth it.
