Walking around barefoot in our home in the winter is the best! This is the first year that I’ve been living here that I have ever had the chance to really walk around in our home while in the winter without any shoes on! Usually it’s so cold here in our home that going without shoes isn’t ever even an option; It’s one of those things that I always wanted to do during the winter, but I just could not because I would end up with cold feet! But then, a few weeks ago, the two of us decided to go on trip and ended up at a cottage that had radiant heated flooring installed in it, however my wife and I had never even heard of radiant heated flooring before we stayed in this small cottage, however we both loved it, then we talked to the owners of the cottage after we checked out, and the two of us found out what sort of heating system this was and how it worked! They highly recommended it to us, and as soon as the two of us got back home, we called up our local heating and cooling company to find out what we needed to do to get this kind of heating system installed in our own house. Within the next couple of weeks we ended up doing everything that we needed to do to get the radiant heated flooring installed in our house. We now have radiant heated flooring in our kitchen, our hallways, and in our living room. We decided to leave carpet in the bedrooms, however now I wish that the we had gone ahead and put the radiant floor heating in the bedrooms too! I like it that much.
