When the kids left home, my parents began driving me crazy the way that they spoil my dogs.
I recognize they’re just having empty nest syndrome or something however the way they treat these dogs is just insane.
They spoil these dogs way more than they ever did their grandkids. I know that it absolutely drives the dogs crazy too. Last week my parents just went completely over the edge when they called up our local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company to have them come out and put in a special heating system for my dogs in the backyard. I told them that this was the craziest thing that I had ever heard of, and they just looked at me like I was the insane one. My parents said that sometimes the dogs get too chilly when they’re outside in the doghouse. They added that it only makes sense for us to put a heating unit in the doghouse because they need to be just as comfortable as we are inside of our house. I rolled our eyes and told them that indoor air quality levels just aren’t as immense of an issue when you are a dog. My parents said that that was not true at all and that the dogs deserve to breathe air just as clean as the air we breathe inside of our house. They’ve even thinking about installing an air purification plan in the doghouse. I don’t know at what point I should absolutely put my foot down about this whole thing, although I guess I am getting close.
