It had been such a busy week at work as we were running audits for the year.
The bosses wanted the exercise to be complete by the holiday weekend.
We pushed ourselves to finish the project that Thursday before the long holiday weekend began. I remember feeling relieved when we wrapped up. All I wanted to do was to go home, cook myself a lovely meal the rest of the night. I did just that but when I woke the following morning, my air conditioner was not working. I tried fumbling with the controls on the unit to get it started but nothing worked. After about two hours of messing with the button and the thermostat, I recalled having an a/c care plan given to me by the a/c representative from the local air conditioning company that had done my air conditioner installation. The only thing I could do as part of the a/c care was to change the filters, the rest had to be done by a professional a/c worker. I had only one filter left and I managed to install it successfully. I made a note to visit the air conditioning supplier the following week for more filters. Replacing the filters did not work, the house was still boiling and the air quality was not amusing. I had planned to have the annual air conditioning maintenance and a/c repairs done the following week. After pursuing through the plan and the internet for solutions, I settled for my standing fan as my new air conditioning system for the weekend. While trying to solve my issue, I read up on the proper a/c service and reserved questions and clarifications to the experts from the air conditioning business that I was expecting that Monday.
