Getting teased about my old air conditioner

Jimmy, a close friend who also happens to work for the local air conditioning company as an a/c representative, was teasing me about my air conditioner.

He said that if I got a dollar for every time my air conditioner installation huffed and puffed, I would have enough money for a new air conditioning system in a week.

Sadly, it was nothing but the truth. My grandmother was still in her prime the first time it received a/c service. I tried to keep it running through air conditioning maintenance and home a/c care, but it had even outlived our family dog, and it was time for it to go. So many times, I passed by the air conditioning business and thought about going in to ask about the best a/c suitable for my home. Still, I always managed to convince myself that the air quality in my house was okay. The primary issue I was facing was that even with an a/c care plan, I contacted the air conditioning supplier for a/c repair not more minor than four times in a year. Jimmy had come to my house several times until he told me that if I needed any work done on it, I would need to call a different a/c worker because he had already given up on it. I am convinced that I have to get a new one, and when I do, I will make sure it uses the latest technology. Jimmy has even promised he will do the first annual service. Since I never pass on free things especially coming from a friend, I plan to hold him to his promise.
