Every year right around Christmas time my local heating and AC business has a big sale.
They kept their prices low, focused on excellent customer service, and frequently had many discounts and sales. There were so many of these that they had several very faithful customers including my family. So when it was the month of December, everybody in my family was planning on getting Christmas gifts set up. I had already made up my mind on what I was going to get everybody and I knew exactly what I wanted to get my dad. My dad was an outdoor guy and he loved to do a lot of woodworking, the only downside is that since he is often out in the yard or inside working in the garage he’s frequently hot and sweaty. This is something that he complains about and I decided to surprise him by purchasing a window air conditioning system. It was something that he had mentioned wanting to get in the past, and so I knew that it would be the perfect gift for him. On Christmas Day when my dad opened his present and saw that I had gotten him the window air conditioning system he was over the moon with joy and excitement. He must have thanked me like 10 times and he gave me the biggest hug. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so happy. I helped him set up the window AC system in the garage. I never since he got his brand new air conditioner he has been working even more and more. It has been great because sometimes I’ll go in there and I will join him and we will get to enjoy spending some father and son time together. Beforehand, this would have been nearly impossible due to the hot temperatures in the garage, but thanks to the window air conditioning system, it has helped to bring us closer together.
