I have never won anything in my entire life.
I had entered plenty of contests and even played the lottery many times.
I even gambled in casinos and never once have I won! Well, recently the local heating and air conditioning company that I use had a contest where they were giving away 2 portable air conditioning systems to the winner. It cost nothing to enter and was available to loyal regular customers of the heat and a/c company. So I entered. And guess what? I was the winner! It was the very first time in my life that I had won anything and I am pushing 50 years old! Now really I didn’t need any portable air conditioning systems because I already have one in the event of an HVAC emergency. However, when it is free of course I will take it. The extra 2 portable air conditioning systems that I now have could be of use for HVAC emergencies also to where I could cool other rooms in the house as well if the central heating and air conditioning system happens to go out in the hot summer. I will not sell these because they are a token of the fact that I actually won something in my life. I do not know if I will ever win anything again. It is doubtful based on my past history with this sort of thing. But you never know. Maybe this winning of the free portable air conditioning systems from the local heat and a/c company was an omen and the beginning of the turn of luck for me when it comes to entering contests.
