Didn’t even wait five minutes before walking in the door
I do not like to buy new items. This really goes with almost anything with the exception being maybe clothing. This is because I have found that not only can you save money by buying used things, but you can also find many items that are just as good as I would be brand new. A recent example of this for me is that I recently bought a brand new air conditioner. Brand new to me anyways, the air conditioning system itself had been used before but the previous owner was selling it cheap because they had just upgraded to a brand new heating and air conditioning system and they didn’t need the old one. I have been needing a new AC myself and so I was keeping an eye out for some in the local classified ads. It didn’t take long before I found a guy that was selling an air conditioning system that was still in good shape. The asking price was low because he just wanted to get rid of it. So I contacted him about the air conditioner that he was offering for sale and we met up and I paid him for the AC when and then I took it home. I tested it out right then and there. Didn’t even wait five minutes before walking in the door. I immediately plugged in and wanted to see if it would work. As expected, the air conditioning system sprung to life and it started cooling down my house immediately.
