Nothing beats a nice cold bedroom for sleep and last night was a great night of sleep when outside it was about 90F.
A lot of people have no AC in their homes here and sleep with windows open and fans. It is very loud outside when the garbage truck comes by at around 1am, and I am sure if your windows are open you wake up each night when they come to empty the bins and dumpsters. I like to sleep with earplugs and windows closed so that these city noises don’t wake me up. My HVAC rep got me into the earplugs when she told me she had trouble sleeping because of the loud bar next door to her. I sleep with them each night and it helps me a lot because I have a loud bar next to me too. I keep my smart thermostat set to 70F and also run my little fan to help drown out any noise that my earplugs don’t block out. I think I slept about nine hours last night, which was much needed after the two hour night of sleep I got the night before because I drank a small Cuban coffee in the evening. I never knew how strong this type of coffee was till now, wow. Today I will clean my HEPA filter and do some writing online before going out to get some exercise with my friends. It is too hot out to be out in the daytime right now as we are in the middle of a very hot summer season.
