Making a Big Pot of Spaghetti Sauce Today

I am in the mood for some homemade pasta sauce with ground turkey or chicken in it.

I don’t like to eat a lot of red meat anymore so I have substituted chicken in place of beef when it comes to adding meat to the dish.

I like to top it off with a slice of cheese when served to give it a lasagna type of taste. I will make a big pot of it today and freeze some of the leftovers for future times when I don’t feel like cooking a meal from scratch. My HVAC specialist friend is from Italy and she gave me the recipe for this sauce a few years back and I haven’t modified it at all because it is the best sauce I have ever tasted. That girl really knows how to make a good pasta sauce, wow! So, today is Saturday and I am still in my pajamas as I type at a little past noon. I went to bed early last night and just stayed in bed extra long this morning to rest my body from all of those games on the beach last night with my local contractor friend and volleyball partner. We won most of our games and had a lot of fun but I am pretty sore now as a result. I think this evening I am going to bring my drum to the beach and play some music and sing. I can’t wait for my HVAC tech buddy to come back from vacation as we play music together each week.
