The Compressor Stopped Working

Last week, I called the Heating and A/C company to schedule my biannual Heating and A/C tune up.

The Summer season is coming to a close and it’s time for me to have my gas furnace looked at before I turn it on for the season.

I felt superb about scheduling my Heating and A/C tune up so early in the season because it meant I didn’t have to worry about competing with other homeowners for a spot… Unluckyly, a afternoon after I made the appointment, my A/C plan stopped working and I had to contact the Heating and A/C company again. This time, I told them about my A/C failure and that I desperately needed to be seen earlier. Since it was after their normal company minutes, they sent an Heating and A/C professional to my house the following day. It was the first appointment of the afternoon and I was grateful for it, my house was boiling without A/C and I hardly slept. I did not believe why my A/C plan wasn’t working, despite the fact that I knew it needed to be fixed right away. I could not take the heat. The Heating and A/C professional was trained to find the issue and I was hoping it wasn’t something too severe… According to him, there were some concerns with my compressor unit. This didn’t sound good, although he assured me that it wasn’t the worst case scenario. My compressor unit wasn’t working however it wasn’t something to panic about. My compressor unit was still within warranty and I could have the entire thing replaced for free.
