I have lists for everything, everything in our house has a venue, and I am never late.
There is rarely a time when something slips between the cracks and I neglect a responsibility or chore. Last year though, I realized that I’d actually forgotten something major and I was desperate to have it fixed, however right as the cooler weather arrived, I turned on our heat pump and waited for the hot air to flow through the air vents. After a few hours though, it finally dawned on myself and others that there wasn’t any heat coming and our house wasn’t getting any warmer. If anything, it was getting colder! Despite having our heat pump ran tests on a few weeks prior, our heat pump went out and I was left without heat in our home. I immediately contacted the Heating, Ventilation & A/C dealer and suggested an Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker to come fix it. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker had dealt with heat pump problems like mine in the past and he was confident that our thermostat wasn’t getting an accurate reading of the temperature of our home. This was causing our heat pump to get confused and not heat our house respectfully, but once he recalibrated the thermostat though, the heat began pumping through the air vents like I wanted! Before leaving, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker recommended that I invest in a smart thermostat since they were more new and had less technical problems than traditional thermostats.
