Last week, an HVAC professional came to my home to tune up my HVAC system.
I assume it’s early in the season for an HVAC tune up, but I like to get my tuneup out of the way before the weather fluctuations too much and I find myself scrambling to get my heating system turned on.
This is something I’ve always done, but my next door friend pulled me aside Last month and asked me about how I’d managed to get an appointment. I was undoubtedly confused by their question because I simply called the HVAC company and tied up my appointment. However, my friend explained that he had called too and they were booked solid for at least 2 weeks. He wanted to assume how I called in advance. I understood his frustration right away. I was an HVAC club member with the HVAC company which granted me priority scheduling. I could get an appointment basically whenever I wanted. Before I became an HVAC club member though, I struggled to get an appointment too. I told my friend about my membership and he was shocked because he had never heard of the program before. I explained the details about the annual fee and the several benefits you received and he was thrilled. He told me that he was going to call the HVAC company right away to join their HVAC club. Before he left, I made sure he knew to mention my name so I could receive a referral credit. I’m happy I was able to help him.
