There is nothing worse than embarrassing yourself in a customer’s house; Last week, I did more than embarrass myself! I had to be taken from the cabin on a gurney.
I was going into the basement, plus I hit our head on the low beam before the owner had the opportunity to warn me.
I hit so strenuous that it knocked myself and others on our butt plus I saw stars. I could hear voices, although I couldn’t focus on an individual… By the time I was able to focus even a small bit, I was in the hospital waking up in the emergency room, the homeowner’s wife was standing in the room next to our wife plus wringing her hands! She asked myself and others if I knew where I was, plus I just looked from her to our wife, however why was this person here? I was sure I had a concussion from hitting the low beam leading into their basement, however had I finished the maintenance on their oil furnace before I hit our head. I didn’t remember anything however falling down plus waking up here in the hospital, then my wife sat down on the bed beside me, which had the other person frustrated. She told our wife I was going to get frustrated plus moved her away. I reached out grabbed her hand plus refused to let her go. The other person said that I was destructiond when coming into her cabin to maintenance a oil furnace. She didn’t want to be blamed for any other health troubles other than that, just because our wife thought she should. The two of us both laughed plus said it wasn’t her fault I hit our head. I should have been more careful when going into the basement to look at the oil furnace.
