I wasn’t born into a religious family.
In fact, not once in our upbringing did I go to church or any other site of worship.
My parents weren’t believers, plus they never wanted to push me into anything I didn’t want to do. It’s while in our years in college that I got to learn about God plus experience christianity. My roommate was a believer plus constantly invited me to go to church with her. It took time for me to accept her invitation, however eventually I joined her plus loved the entire experience. Now, I go to a local church in the town I moved to after college. It’s not a crucial congregation, however it’s an amazing site. The other morning, all of us were having concerns with the commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system that cools plus warms the church. This heating plus cooling machine was on its last leg plus constantly required repairs which weren’t cheap. One sizzling Sunday morning, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system failed plus the church became unbearably hot. Our pastor explained that she was yet to raise the full amount to purchase a current commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system for the church. The people I was with and I normally do donations when there’s a need in the church. So, I heard someone agreed to write a check for the full amount that was needed to purchase plus install a current commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system. The whole thing took a week to complete, plus by the next Sunday, all of us were enjoying time at church with a current heating plus cooling system. It’s wonderful when the community comes together to ensure the local church remains functional.
