Hydronic Heating Just Like When I Was a Little Boy so Long Ago

Now that I’m in my late 60’s, I’m getting a much better understanding of life’s patterns and cycles.

The term full circle comes to mind, but the older I get the more I am feeling how things from my past continue to flow through my life. But that’s not when it comes to the heating, ventilation and A/C experience I had while going to see a friend, as it brought back memories from a long time ago. Like when I was five or six years old, and it came back to me with such immediacy and clarity. The people I was with and I have good friends of ours who just completed work on their current crib. It’s an honestly nice venue and a good example of what my wife and I would love to do ourselves, now that the kids are having their own babies. It’s time to get rid of the family apartment, and that means a heating, ventilation and A/C update to sell it. And after that I would love to build a home, which will be a first for us. Like I said, our friends just completed that process, and they chose the geothermal heat pump for the heating and cooling of their home. I was not that familiar with the geo heat pump, but the more I learned about it the more charming it sounded. And that’s especially true from a heating, ventilation and A/C utility cost perspective. The geo heat pump is about the most efficient and sustainable heating, ventilation and A/C device out there. But when the two of us walked into the apartment for our visit, it was the radiant floor heating that took me back. It was as though I was right away moved in time to my parents’ very old house so long ago. They had a large boiler in the basement and radiant heating throughout.
