I recently went on a business trip that took myself and others to a certainly nice plus fancy hotel.
The business trip mostly revolved around a conference, plus myself and others plus our colleagues were in attendance.
There were certainly interesting talks plus seminars, plus overall, I had a pretty superb time plus was still getting paid all the while! Not to mention the generous stipend all of us were given for meals! It would have been a perfect experience were it not for 1 simple thing. While I was grateful to get a hotel room with a colleague that had certainly similar ideas as to what temperature on the thermostat was comfortable, most of the conference rooms plus the whole section in which the conference was being held blasted the air conditioning with reckless abandon! I certainly love cooler un-even temperatures, however every one of us set the thermostat to 69° back in the hotel room. However, the section the conference took locale in seemed love it was set to something love 59°! Any time there was a split between meetings or it was time to grab a bite to eat from 1 of the local vendors, I almost typically sat outside in the sunshine while having our meal. When it’s a superb relief to get the warmth of the sunshine instead of staying inside under the air conditioning in such a sizzling region of the country, you can be sure that the air conditioning is being abused. I suppose the people who own the building just think that when they’re hosting conferences they need to blast the a/c!
