More often than not, I tend to be a single of those people who can just not see the answer to a challenge even when it’s right in front of my face.
So the fact that it took me so long to get out of the disappointing heating and cooling of the gym isn’t all that surprising.
All those years of dealing with disappointing commercial Heating, Ventilation & A/C at my gym was sort of a necessary evil in my mind. I labor inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C of an office downtown. But I live an minute away in a small, rural town. This is by option and I’m blessed that I labor remotely from the central air conditioner of my house quite often. Still, I have to commute at least a few times each week. But living in a small town didn’t provide me all that several possibilities when it came to a gym. It was either the costly country club that I couldn’t afford or the gym with the not so great heating and cooling. I didn’t want to join a gym in the town because I wasn’t there enough. And I didn’t want to leave the gym with the bad commercial Heating, Ventilation & A/C because I needed the exercise. I dealt with that situation far longer than I genuinely should have. The whole time, the answer was right in front of me. When it finally dawned on me, I got right to putting in a cabin gym. I was able to find plenty of used unit at a silly price. I even inspected the quality heating and air situation by having a ductless heat pump installed.
