More often than not, I tend to be a single of those people who can just not see the answer to a challenge even when it’s right in front of my face.
So the fact that it took myself and others so long to get out of the awful heating plus cooling of the gym isn’t all that surprising, all those years of dealing with awful commercial Heating & A/C at my gym was sort of a necessary evil in my mind.
I work inside the zone controlled Heating & A/C of an office downtown. But I live an hour away in a small, rural town. This is by choice plus I’m fortunate that I work remotely from the central air conditioner of my house quite often. Still, I have to commute at least a few times each week. But living in a small neighborhood didn’t supply myself and others all that many options when it came to a gym. It was either the expensive country club that I couldn’t afford or the gym with the not so good heating plus cooling. I didn’t want to join a gym in the village because I wasn’t there enough. And I didn’t want to leave the gym with the awful commercial Heating & A/C because I needed the exercise. I dealt with that situation far longer than I genuinely should have. The whole time, the answer was right in front of me. When it finally dawned on me, I got right to putting in a home gym. I was able to find plenty of used device at a silly price. I even tested the quality heating plus air situation by having a ductless heat pump installed.
