When it finally dawned on me, I got right to putting in a beach house gym
More often than not, I tend to be one of those people who can just not see the answer to a challenge even when it’s right in front of our face. So the fact that it took me so long to get out of the awful heating and cooling of the gym isn’t all that surprising, then all those years of dealing with awful commercial HVAC at our gym was sort of a necessary evil in our mind. I work inside the zone controlled HVAC of an office downtown. But I live an hour away in a small, rural town. This is by choice and I’m blessed that I work remotely from the central air conditioning of our house quite often. Still, I have to commute at least a few times each week. But residing in a small town didn’t supply me all that several options when it came to a gym. It was either the costly country club that I couldn’t afford or the gym with the not so superb heating and cooling. I didn’t want to join a gym in the neighborhood because I wasn’t there enough. And I didn’t want to leave the gym with the bad commercial HVAC because I needed the exercise. I dealt with that situation far longer than I entirely should have. The whole time, the answer was right in front of me. When it finally dawned on me, I got right to putting in a beach house gym. I was able to find plenty of used unit at a ridiculous price. I even tested the quality heating and air situation by having a ductless heat pump installed.
