I actually adore Wintertide around here.
It’s not just the holiday season plus all the festivities plus time off from labor plus gift-giving, but I adore all of those things really much so, especially as a high university professor that gets over several weeks off for Christmas getaway, and yes, professors labor really strenuous plus have to put up with kids all afternoon long, but you have to admit, that’s a pretty good deal, plus do not even get myself and others started about 2 months off in the summer! Anyway, I adore Wintertide here because of the holidays plus also because I adore the cold! I have a gas furnace in our house, however I might as well not have a heater! Well, that is not really true.
I set it to about 65°, then our winters are mild, so it is straight-forward for our heating idea to maintain that temperature. On Sunday evenings it doesn’t even bother kicking in, because it doesn’t have to. I guess there are people that would bark at the plan of keeping their thermostat as low as 65°, but that’s why I adore winters so much! I barely have to expend any energy on our heating idea to maintain what I consider to be an harshly comfortable temperature! Summers, on the other hand, are really boiling around here. I would have to be mad to try plus keep our thermostat at 65° all the time in the summer. My air conditioning idea would supply out really abruptly, but so you see, in the winter, I pay practically nothing for heating plus guess really cool plus comfortable indeed!
