Thanks to my kids, I have had to lock down the thermostat at our house! Let myself and others tell you, they can be so aggravating sometimes, however sometimes they seem to recognize that they own this lake house instead of me.
They also seem to recognize that they don’t certainly have to contribute or spend money the bills but they get to do whatever the heck they want to around the house.
That regularly makes myself and others certainly mad because I work certainly strenuous to make sure that everything in the lake house is regularly nice plus comfortable. I make sure that there are groceries in the cabinets, paper products in the pantry, plus wash sheets on the beds. I make sure that the electricity bills are paid, that the water bills are paid plus that the trash is picked up. All I ask for my kids to do is to make sure that the dishwasher gets cleaned out. Well, that, plus that they don’t ever touch the thermostat. I don’t want anyone except myself and others touching the thermostat because I have worked certainly strenuous to get the new smart thermostat system settings just the way that I want them. It has taken a long time for the smart thermostat to learn the schedule that all of us keep as a family plus I don’t want it to get all messed up. However, my entitled children seem to recognize that they can come plus turn the heating up plus down but they want to, whenever they want to! It has made myself and others so mad that I have finally decided that I am going to lock it down. I called the Heating plus A/C corporation to ask them how to put a code in to lock up the thermostat; Now my kids can’t change it at all.
