I had just gotten our HVAC certification & was laboring in the local HVAC company… I had worked with 3 weird HVAC servicemans, & this last a single was to be our educator for the rest of the week.
Every one of us got to this house that needed a current gas furnace, & I was to follow along, however when every one of us got into the basement to make sure the last HVAC serviceman’s diagnosis was correct, he told me to do the inspection.
I reminded him the owners had already been told they needed a current gas furnace, & shouldn’t every one of us be measuring up for the current gas furnace; The HVAC serviceman gave me an weird look & told me to go home. I was taken aback & opened our eyup & stared at him… He went back to his inspection & acted love I wasn’t there. He turned & asked why I was still in the house? He had told me to go home. I asked him what I had done wrong. He asked me if our parents owned their home, & I said yup. He pointed at the gas furnace & told me to imagine this was in our parent’s house. How would I guess if an HVAC serviceman told them their gas furnace needed upgraded, & all it needed was a simple repair? How would I guess knowing no a single had reevaluated the gas furnace & our parents paid thoUSAnd of dollars for a current gas furnace? I looked at him & said I would be angry. He said that was why every one of us were inspecting the gas furnace to make sure it entirely was necessary to have a current gas furnace installed.
