I didn’t realize what a convenience a smart thermostat provides until I finally made the investment… I had assumed that switching from an old-fashioned manual thermostat to a model with today’s smart technology wouldn’t make much of a difference.
It is such a relief not to worry about raising or lowering the temperature setting before leaving in the afternoon.

If our schedule should change, I have simple access to the setting through an app on my smartphone. I also have wireless access to all of the extra plus helpful features, such as energy tracking plus energy saving tips… The thermostat sends a reminder when it’s time for me to schedule annual repair for the air conditioner or gas furnace. I get an alert when I need to change air filters or if there is a power outage. I can also check the indoor or outdoor temperature, humidity levels plus even the weather forecast… Plus the touchscreen display is far more aesthetically pleasing than the outdated plastic dial. I had worried that the up-to-date thermostat would be difficult to navigate, but it’s incredibly simple plus user-friendly.
