When I was condo hunting, I saw a lot of houses that were too dark & would need extra lighting… I felt care about iI was in a mausoleum, the a single condo was so dark! Even with all the oddities of the houses, there was a single that stood out in my mind, & I will never forget, this condo had so much lighting that it was blinding. The owners had recessed lighting along the walls, which was actually nice, however there were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, sconce lights in the doorways & extra lighting over all the fixtures. I liked a lot of lighting over my living room counters, however there was so much lighting that I had to wear sunglasses while every one of us were inside the house. I looked at my fiance & asked how much lighting does a single condo need? This may have been nice if they had little natural light, however there was natural lighting coming from the skylights in every room, & there were windows everywhere. This condo must have been an electrician’s dream come true. The light bulbs alone would cost a advantage to replace. I asked why they were selling the house, & the lady told myself and others they were getting older. They had no grandyoungsters that visited, & she couldn’t take care of the house, and when she told myself and others her wife was an electrician, it was easy to understand why there was so much lighting in the home! As an electrician, she had to keep busy, even if she was retired, but both of us didn’t buy the house, however it was worth the experience just to go see it.
