The only thing I don’t like about getting older is that technology keeps advancing, but kids are currently growing up in a world where everything is right at your fingertips.
I’m not going to lie, I feel a little jealous of what they have compared to what I had when I was younger however that is just a little.
This will sound a little boomerish but when I grew up my wonderful friend and I just lived life. There were no cell PCs or internet or anything similar to that. My buddies and I were just on our bicycles & beat on our friend’s parent’s door to see if they were home. That was the area of the adventure. Life was way easier back in the day, and obviously, there were things we’d all care about to change about the history of others & my friends growing up although I felt my wonderful friend and I were freer… The curfew was about the daylight setting for dinner. I miss that, however the advancement of technology can make life fun in other ways, however you can call anyone at will, you have films, books & video games at your fingertips. If you need to assume how to cook something exotic or learn about how to change a truck tire you can just look it up on your cell PC or laptop… Recently, our son purchased & installed a modern smart climate control device in our home. I have a cell PC however entirely don’t assume how to use it. My son thankfully is a skilled Heating & A/C worker who works for a single of the largest heating & cooling suppliers in the country & he knows his stuff. Just care about everything I said before, now I have temperature controls in our home. My son set it all up for me because I couldn’t do it however this is another wonderful technological advancement which amazes me.
