To my surprise, my bestie had called the cooling tech to come over this afternoon. When the doorbell rang, I could feel my irritation as well as anger building up. I opened the door to let him in with a long face. He informed me that he needed to perform some air duct sealing. Although I didn’t fully understand what that meant, I allowed him to get on with it. Trying to focus on my writing became challenging as he was making a heck of a racket.
