Holiday at the house with radiant floors & my disappointment on hydronic heating

On my most recent vacation, I decided to travel during the winter to avoid the possibility of suffering a heat stroke, as I had the year before. The home was advertised as having a dependable heater/upgraded heater, so I wasn’t concerned about heating. Despite my mother’s apprehensions about my trip, the weather forecast indicated that there would be only light snow, so I was unconcerned about moving around and the possibility of other sites lacking a heater. However, the holiday would be a scorcher. I would return in two weeks, and after frequent boiler repairs, it would be a great vacation to be in a home with no heating and air conditioning issues. I was astute enough to arrange Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair as soon as I returned with plans to install a hybrid heating system because I had fallen in love with the heat pump concept. However, the varying temperatures in our region necessitated a system that could switch to a more energy-efficient solution when the temperature changed. That meant the heating company expert would be at my home the day after I returned from vacation. However, while I was away, my housemates decided that my partner and I should go out and celebrate, which is how my partner and I ended up at a house party with radiant floors. It was so cozy that I sought out the host, who informed me that it was simply hydronic heating. I was impressed and even attempted to call my Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning repairman to inquire if my colleague and I could purchase a similar system from the heating dealership, but I was informed that my home did not qualify. Well, it failed, but at least I wouldn’t have to deal with frequent heating system maintenance.
