My hubby was doing absolutely well in his job, and now pretty much everyone wants to know why he suddenly became an Heating and A/C specialist.
I tell them he became an Heating and A/C tech on a whim, but that isn’t the truth.
He was into plumbing for years, and he realized how closely related Heating and A/C and plumbing was. He wanted to extend his services, and with Heating and A/C, he could offer clients radiant heated flooring. He had a lot of people inquiring about radiant heat when he got his Heating and A/C certification, even though I feel that fad has gone away, and people were finding out that every surface touching the flooring was heated, and it was uncomfortable for most people. He’With the substantial transport toward ductless Heating and A/C which doesn’t require you to use fossil fuel, he is once again using his expertise. Now, he is considering getting his certification to be an electrician. He’ll have the knowledge of the use of conduit and wiring, and still be able to tell people how to toil the Heating and A/C system. Since most jobs toil with plumbing, Heating and A/C and electrical systems, his plumbing contractor will be a full-maintenance business. My only complication is that I’m his bookkeeper and scheduler. I hope he has people laboring for him who are just plumbers, electricians, or Heating and A/C techs. I would dislike to send someone out to toil on an Heating and A/C system that doesn’t have any knowledge of them. I told him this and he laughed. He told me that within a year, he was going to have pretty much everyone who worked for him cross trained and able to do every job.
