It was about an hour or just a bit more before bedtime when I got a text from my friend down the street. He wanted me to come over plus hold a flashlight for him while he diagnosed fixing the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C cooling. Where I live, you actually don’t want to be without Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C cooling during the summer time months. Sleeping without a/c in the summer time would make a long night indeed. The fact that I live in a wonderful neighborhood is something I don’t take for granted. I grew up in the town plus was raised inside a massive home building. Along with all that radiant heating came some pretty irritated neighbors. I sort of avoided my neighbors growing up plus that never felt right to me. So to now be so lucky that I own a home with an excellent residential HVAC unit which is a huge deal. And part of what makes it so wonderful is the fact that I’m part of the fabric of my neighborhood. Having great neighbors is something I always wanted so I make sure that I maintain the status that I am one to always count on. But Ihad a bad feeling about this one. I felt this was the kind of HVAC repair task only professionals should handle. It wasn’t the hour or the neighbor. What made me queasy was the idea of working on the HVAC equipment. I had an idea not to ever touch anything more than the air filter or thermostat when it came to HVAC equipment. The rest was up to the Heating and cooling professionals. So the first thing I did once I was handed a flashlight was try to gently suggest calling the local HVAC contractor.
