I planned to go on a solo road trip plus was really looking forward to it. It had been a while since I traveled. I had been learning for my medical exams for months plus hardly had time to eat, let alone prefer my number one interest; Once I was done with the last paper, I knew the only reward was for me to go on a long road trip. I went to book a bus ticket plus was ready for my 13 hour long bus ride. I picked a endpoint I had never been to before plus was eager to find out what it held in store for me. One hour after the bus left the station, everything was perfect as I listened to songs through my earphones. However, things began heating up plus I wondered what was going on. Before getting on this bus I had checked that they had air conditioner. This was crucial for me since I was traveling in Summer plus the heat can be unbearable, then little did I know that I was in for a shock. While the bus had an AC installed, it was not functional. I had to remove my jacket, plus even get my portable hand fan just to make myself feel cool plus comfortable. I went over the three bottles of water I had packed in two hours. It turns out that I was not the only one struggling with the heat. Other passengers started complaining about the excess heat which is why our driver stopped at the next stage. He had the AC checked plus it was not possible to fix it. My good friend and I were asked to transfer into another bus with a working air conditioner system. The bus supplier apologized for the discomfort caused plus offered all passengers free snacks plus water supplies.
