I don’t see the purpose of a yard sale, you just end up laying outside for hours on end and end up making about $40! I would rather just donate all of our unwanted stuff to a thrift store and be done with it, however and yet, my partner insist on having a yard sale many times a year! This last time it was super boiling and, by the time I was done hauling all of our stuff onto the sod, I was already regretting this afternoon, and even still, I ended up staying outside with my partner while people picked through our seasoned trash.
I decided that, this week, I was not going to roast to death.
I obstructed in our seasoned window air conditioner unit into an extension cord and then I set my chair right in front of it. It wasn’t too awful laying there and staying cool. I could have made a little bit more cash if I’d have been willing to sell the seasoned window air conditioner unit because a few people made offers to buy it. They could see how well it works and how comfortable I was even though I would not hear of selling it, and we’ve had this seasoned window air conditioner unit for as long as we have been married so that makes it pretty old, then still, it works better than anything they make this week. Additionally, there is still a lot of junk we have not sold and that means more yard sales in the future. So I better keep this seasoned window air conditioner unit around a bit longer so I can be cool and comfortable for them too.
