I knew the air conditioner component was outside the bedroom.
I lived in this dwelling for four years, & I knew exactly where was because whenever I looked out the window I could see the top of the air conditioner unit.
What I didn’t realize until just this past summer, was that I could not open my bedroom window because the AC component was in the way. My friend and I had several easily cool weeks during the Summer were the air conditioner wasn’t necessary. I thought that I could open up a window in the bedroom & one in the living room, & get a cool breeze blowing to the house, however I thought wrong. The way the air conditioner component was installed, they had nailed the windows shut. I thought this was kind of strange, & was going to pull the nails up. When I got outside, I realize air conditioner component was much closer to the window than I had anticipated; Not only was it close to the window, however it was about 3 inches higher than the windowsill. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning company, & asked there would be a problem if I open the window? They send an Heating & Air Conditioning professional out to the dwelling to inspect the situation. His first question was why did my pal and I have the air conditioner component put directly under the window? I told him it had been there before my pal and I even bought this dwelling however this was the first Summer when I had considered opening up a window instead of having the AC component running. He shook his head & told me my pal and I were stuck with the AC component where was.
