I can’t believe I stayed up last night until 4 am listening to music and still managed to wake up early today.

I guess I was hooked, and the truth is, I could not stop. The good thing is that I have discovered new songs, which is exciting because I’m bored with listening to the same old music over and over again. Today is a rainy day, a rare event in the area where I live. We haven’t had rain for months, so it’s great that it’s raining again. The countryside will be green and lush, and once the rain stops, my partner and I are planning on going for an excursion. However, today, I have to retrieve my portable space heater from the basement, which is quite surprising considering the weather was getting increasingly hotter. It’s invigorating to breathe the fresh, clean air coming in through the window as I write my HVAC tech stories. As I write, I make sure that part of my attention is focused on the air I’m breathing. Today, I’ll be staying in the city since I have to attend a language course in the afternoon. Afterward, I’ll play soccer with my pals at the local sports center, which has climate control. Tomorrow, if the weather is okay, I will head to my favorite town to spend the day at the beach. The good news is that the trains now have air conditioning, which makes traveling a lot more pleasant. They’ve also improved the railways, making trains more frequent and less crowded with people.

I can already envision myself walking barefoot on the warm sand, the salty breeze brushing against my skin and filling my lungs with the invigorating scent of the ocean.

I have just one more story to write and then I’m off to meet my girlfriend at our favorite seaside town.

We will have lunch at the beach while we sunbathe, top up on Vitamin D, go snorkeling, and maybe play some volleyball. Then, later in the afternoon, I will meet with my HVAC tech buddy to go busking in the town center. We’ve found a good spot to play by the church; there are no neighbors to annoy, only the priest residing in the church. Luckily, he is always indulging in spirits and happens to be a fan of our music. We then head to an air-conditioned bar to enjoy a cool beer while we contemplate the sunset and talk about our plans as a band for the future. We have plans to play at the local business in town once a week and then tour the country in our climate-controlled RV. During the winter, we will relocate to our cabin in the mountains and perform in ski lodges with nice fireplaces. We have been doing a lot of promotional work to get our songs known and to get gigs. In the meantime, we will focus on our HVAC rep jobs to make money while we play music. Soon, we’ll be performing a gig for a friend’s birthday party in an air-conditioned venue by the pier, and I’m tremendously excited about it.

I’m excited to meet my girlfriend at the beach for lunch as soon as I’m done with the writing.

• After days of rainy weather, the sight of the mesmerizing blue skies captivates me, making it hard to look away.

It’s funny how easy it is to take things for granted and how we only know what we have until it’s gone. Before the rainy weather, we’d been having nothing but blue skies every single day for four or five consecutive weeks, yet I had never appreciated it as much as I do now. I love looking at the sky, which is why I’m relocating my home office so that I can see the sky from the window. I recently discovered the benefits of a ductless HVAC system, which offers precise temperature control and efficient heating and cooling. Along with having a better view, this was one of the main improvements to my work space. I have also been delving into other technologies and stumbled upon the concept of zone-controlled heating and cooling. This system would allow me to control the temperature in different areas of my home. Another advantage of being close to the window is fresh air, something that people don’t value enough, in my opinion. People often rely on air conditioning devices to provide cooling without first considering the option of opening the windows to ventilate the room and get some nice fresh air in. I’ve even added an air purification system to remove allergens and pollutants from my living environment. I’m certain that relocating my workspace will make a great improvement on my productivity, creativity, and overall well-being.

Wow! I just had a delicious breakfast with fruit and veggies that were going to go to waste.

Last night, my girlfriend and I went to the supermarket just before they closed, and the workers gave us a load of food that they were going to throw away.

They gave us a load of eggs, bacon, cheese, sandwiches, prepared meals, and plenty of fruit and veggies. Almost everything in my breakfast was free, except for the peanut butter, which only cost me $3 at the supermarket. We were very happy that we not only reduced waste but also had free food for about a month! Since we’ve been running our HVAC system frequently and are spending a lot of money on energy bills, it’s excellent that we can at least save money on our groceries. This morning I had to call my buddy for energy saving tips; he’s an expert in these kinds of things. The truth is that the weather is getting really warm, and we need to constantly run our air conditioner in order to remain comfortable inside our house. I will be meeting with my buddy later in the afternoon to play some music near the local business once we are done with our HVAC tech work. It’s a beautiful day, so I presume there are going to be a lot of people out in the street. I look forward to having a cool beer after playing music in a climate controlled bar while we watch the sunset. I’m very excited about this summer, when we will play gigs and travel around the country in our RV with an awesome cooling system.

Thankfully, I’m home alone this morning, allowing me to delve into my work without any distractions.

I like the tranquility of waking up, preparing my coffee without talking to anyone, savoring it in silence, and immersing myself in uninterrupted work.

After that, I am ready to engage socially, but until then, my introverted nature prevails. I got up late today, and I’m thinking about whether I should head to the beach and continue my work on the train. It is a wonderful day to go to the beach, but if I leave it too late, the train gets very packed, hot, and stuffy. Yesterday, when I was in the city, I found myself having to board a bus that lacked proper ventilation or air conditioning—a truly nightmarish bus experience. Not only was it hot and stuffy inside, but it was crammed with smelly commuters. Usually, I prefer to run rather than take the bus or the subway, but that day I had to go to the shop to get a programmable thermostat before it closed, and I was in a hurry. When I go to language class, I usually choose to run there. The only inconvenience is that the classroom doesn’t have a cooling system, and when I arrive, I’m pouring with sweat, and I feel sorry that my classmates have to put up with my BO. After language class, I go to play soccer in a climate-controlled sports center, which is approximately a 40-minute distance from my language class. However, instead of taking the subway, I choose to go running. This way, I can warm up before the game begins!
