The other day I was taking a stroll through the office building where my buddy worked and I noticed something odd.

This building had lush green plants of many sizes decorating the lobby, and I am a plant lover, so I was fascinated by the resilience and beauty in the face of the a/c. I was wondering if the Heating and Air Conditioning system would be harmful to the indoor plants, so I wanted to talk to the man at the front desk. The guy gave me a funny grin and pointed to a guy in a red uniform who was fixing the a/c on the other side of the main floor. I approached the guy and introduced myself. I asked him and he smiled and said this is a usual question. He said that indoor plants require ideal conditions in terms of temperature, humidity, and air quality in order to thrive. He went into detail about how Heating and Air Conditioning systems are used to regulate temperature and humidity for the benefit of plant growth and health. Also, he mentioned that plants would be healthier if they are exposed to cleaner air, thanks to the Heating and Air Conditioning system’s filtration of harmful pollutants. In addition, plants benefit from photosynthesis and general growth when they have enough oxygen, thanks to fine ventilation and air circulation. The link between climate control and plant development indoors was a fascinating discovery for me. It’s remarkable how modern technology can help nature thrive, resulting in a healthier indoor environment. I started looking at the plants around me and I couldn’t help but notice how well they were doing, once again thanks to the Heating and Air Conditioning system.

But it’s Spring now so it’s not exactly scorching yet and winter is far off

I recently obtained my first-ever house. I was so excited to finally get out of my parent’s loft and start my life on my own. Sometimes you find out that there is a price you will pay after moving out and I should’ve done better research. I found out that the Heating and Air Conditioning system was outdated and inefficient after the system failed to do its job when the temps were less than ideal. I didn’t ask the Heating and Air Conditioning tech too many questions at all but also didn’t want to get my heating and cooling system repaired immediately. So I did a little research. I started to look into many Heating and Air Conditioning systems and learned about the dual fuel system, which uses a gas boiler and an electric heat pump to give the most efficient heating and cooling. I also learned about the ductless heat pump, which provides heating and cooling without air ducts. After a bit, I decided to go with the ductless heat pump because I felt it was the best choice for my home. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning business again and told them what I wanted. They sent out a Heating and Air Conditioning specialist who got to work on installing my ductless heat pump. I knew overall I needed to upgrade even more with my Heating and Air Conditioning system, but this was what I can afford right now. It’s going to be a slow upgrade to my system and other things around the home. But it’s Spring now so it’s not exactly scorching yet and winter is far off. So overall, I feel I’m in a fine place right now.

My husband and I have been on the hunt for a new home for the last couple of months.

We saw a few we liked but there was consistently a thing here and there we didn’t like about the home, and there were a few things we couldn’t agree on and that is what kept us from getting a house.

Like he wanted a home that has more of an open concept where I like everything to have its own room and I don’t want to stare across the kitchen right into the bathroom or bedroom. Then there was the debate over the Heating and Air Conditioning system. I wanted a more traditional gas boiler with a possible fireplace in the home like how I grew up with. He wanted a more modernized electric heater and to get away from the mornings of a gas system. He had many horrible memories as a child and I guess in a way somehow the gas boiler or whatever has traumatized him. I know I don’t talk about it with him because there seems to be some terror from the conversation, so I let it go. The only issue is that I truly don’t want an electric heater, and when it comes to getting our home this has been the major thing that has stopped us from getting one. It might be getting to the point that I have to understand that I’m not going to get what I like in this situation, but maybe if I give this then we can get something I like later on.

Last week we had a legitimately moderate day, my mom woke up that day yelling, and you can tell you needed to take her seriously.

She yelled, “I am fatigued from not sleeping well and we need to get a central air conditioner!” I was startled and I was just trying to have a nice day watching cartoons and coloring, but my dad stood up and got my attention.

He yelled, “Do you know how much that would cost us?” By the sound of how he said that it seemed like it was legitimately expensive and maybe we couldn’t afford to have a central air conditioner. I know my mom has slightly grumbled about it in the past and wanted to get Heating and Air Conditioning tech to come to the home, but my mom just played it off, and at this point I don’t guess he truly can do that. After a few seconds, my dad calmed down and asked to look at the finances because his work truly depends on him sleeping well. He truly wanted to get a central air conditioner, and having the windows open at night truly isn’t working for him anymore either, and my mom understood that he was still a little tense due to my mom’s morning outrage. My mom then said, “Let’s at least get an estimate from the Heating and Air Conditioning business to see where we stand, is that ok?” My dad nodded in agreement to satisfy my mom’s needs for now. I’m still just distraught to find out how everything is going to go down after they find out the cost is far too much for them, but then again it might not be and we might have a central air conditioner soon.

 

Heating maintenance

The air quality in the doctor’s office was awful when we took our child in for a wrist X-ray. She had a little bit of an accident on her skateboard and we were afraid that her wrist had a fracture in it so we decided to go to the doctor. We were expecting it to be nice and cool there, however something was wrong with their heating and cooling system. There was a commercial Heating and A/C business van parked out in the parking lot when we got there, so that should have been a sign to us that there was going to be an issue inside of the building. The indoor air quality in the lobby seemed to be OK, and the elevator ride was nice on the way up to the doctor’s office. However, once we walked into the doctor’s office waiting area, that is when we noticed that there was something off with the heating and cooling system. We can always tell when something is wrong with the indoor air quality because we are just truly sensitive to that kind of thing. Both of us think that the Heating and A/C system was not working properly on that floor, or at least in that suite, because the indoor air quality was so bad. It was truly stuffy and there was no circulation going on at all. As a matter of fact, we didn’t hear the heating and cooling system come on at all the entire time that we were waiting to see the doctor. Meanwhile, there were Heating and A/C workers coming and going in the outer doors to the hallway. We saw one of them hauling some tools around to the back doors of the office. There was something going on that day.
