But he became ill when I was 16 and died not long after. This meant that in order to keep things afloat so that I could attend college, we had to take money out of our savings. I assured my mother that she would one day own the bakery of her dreams, and fifteen years later, business is booming. We had so much going on last summer that we completely forgot to have the AC at home service. When mom arrived home one evening, she discovered the AC was broken. She got in touch with a nearby HVAC business, and they sent someone out the following morning early to check the AC. In addition to a defective part, the AC specialist also discovered mold inside the unit, which was very concerning. For the AC to work properly again, she had to perform a thorough repair and cleaning. Mom expressed her satisfaction and made a commitment to never again skip HVAC maintenance.

I must admit that it was wonderful when Greg visited me last week because I had missed him.

I’d made the decision to replace my old, defective heating system, for starters. I had to spend one night in a hotel because the heating would frequently break down at the worst possible times. As a result, I started setting money aside, and in the fall, I hired a contractor to install a furnace in my house. I went with one of the best models on the market for an energy-efficient gas furnace. Despite the rising cost of gas, I can still afford to heat my house during the winter without worrying about astronomical heating costs. Greg was particularly intrigued by this new gas furnace because he had been considering making changes to his lake house. It was time for him to switch to a better heating system because his heat pump was outdated. When I gave Greg the HVAC contractor’s contact information, he promised to call them.

My husband Jack has been a plumber for almost 10 years now.

He runs a small business, where he has 1 part time employee who helps him out during the busy season.

So, needless to say, Jack is pretty much a one-man-team for most of the year. The business is successful, and he makes a good living at it, but lately he has been thinking about expanding. Recently, he landed a major project from a local construction company who does work for the federal government. Up until that point, Jack had never thought about applying for government contracts because he believed that his company was too small to be awarded anything. But now that he has been awarded the subcontract from this construction company, he seems to be interested in possibly applying himself. Personally, I know very little about federal contracts. In fact, the only thing I know is that billions of dollars are set aside each year for them. I don’t know if there are many contracts that require plumbing services, so that will be something that Jack will need to research. And if he does find contracts for plumbing services, chances are, he’ll need some help executing them. This means he would have to hire a team of workers or perhaps acquire a few plumbers from a staffing company. Either way, he would definitely need some help. Jack is planning on applying for his first contract once he fully executes his current subcontract. Until then, we will do the research to determine if there are federal contracts for plumbing services. I hope that there are some because winning a federal contract is a sure way to grow his plumbing business.

When I was house hunting, I saw a lot of houses that were too dark and would need extra lighting. I felt like iI was in a mausoleum, the one house was so dark. Even with all the oddities of the houses, there was one that stood out in my mind, and I will never forget. This house had so much lighting that it was blinding. The owners had recessed lighting along the walls, which was really nice, but there were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, sconce lights in the doorways and extra lighting over all the fixtures. I liked a lot of lighting over my kitchen counters, but there was so much lighting that I had to wear sunglasses while inside the house. I looked at my fiance and asked how much lighting does one home need? This may have been nice if they had little natural light, but there was natural lighting coming from the skylights in every room, and there were windows everywhere. This house must have been an electrician’s dream come true. The light bulbs alone would cost a fortune to replace. I asked why they were selling the house, and the woman told me they were getting older. They had no grandkids that visited, and she couldn’t take care of the house. When she told me her husband was an electrician, it was easy to understand why there was so much lighting in the home. As an electrician, he had to keep busy, even if he was retired. We didn’t buy the house, but it was worth the experience just to go see it.

He also handed out coupons for free service, or for free installation if they needed a new HVAC system, or just an air conditioning unit or furnace. Last week, I knew I needed to some HVAC advertising. Things had changed from the time my father opened the HVAC company until he sold it to me. I knew that advertising was done online now, and not all word of mouth. I worked hard to keep my father’s company alive, but I needed some help. I called a friend who had a plumbing company. I remembered how he needed advertising done for his company. He had called an online marketing company. They did web development and took care of their ad campaigns. He told me he had a business card if I ever wanted some help with the HVAC company. I called him up, and he gave me all the information I needed. He told me they had a plumbing department, and he was sure they would have an HVAC specialist. Once I called, I got a lot of information on how to do online marketing and the best way to place ads. The best part was that the online marketing company handled everything for me. I wonder if my dad ever gave any thought to advertising on the internet. He’s much smarter than I ever thought, and for all I knew, he may have already worked with an online marketing company.

I thought most HVAC advertising was word of mouth.
