My son worked twelve hours to shovel the twelve feet where the wood shed was located, and the twelve from the back of the house to the porch. I brought the wood in, and we had the fireplace lit within half an hour. I’m not sure what I would have done if my son hadn’t lived next door. Once he was able to get the snow blower out of his garage, he was ready for any storm. He chose to get us plowed our first and get our fireplace started, before doing his home.

This may have been nice if they had little natural light, but there was natural lighting coming from the skylights in every room, and there were windows everywhere. This home must have been an electrician’s dream come true. The light bulbs alone would cost a fortune to substitute. I asked why they were selling the house, and the man told myself and others they were getting older. As an electrician, he had to keep busy, even if he was retired, and both of us didn’t buy the house, but it was worth the experience just to go see it.
