My husband and I have lived in the same house for over twenty-five years, and I enjoy my home.

The longer that I live here though the more I find wrong with it.

Whoever built our dwelling did some unusual things. I do not know if it was to save currency, time, or effort however it tends to be quite aggravating. We discovered that many of our outlets were not put in the right way which is not a huge deal, however it took my husband many hours to go through and change them all. I also found that the floor in the dining room is not level whatsoever. If I put any kind of spherical decoration on the table, it rolls off. By far, the most bothering thing that my friend and I have dealt with through the years is that the upstairs lavatory does not have any heat running to it. It is consistently frigid in that lavatory, and it is the lavatory closet to our bedroom. Neither of us want to walk downstairs to go to the restroom in the middle of the night, however having to kneel on a frigid cold toilet in the middle of the night is not much fun either, then during the winter season months, the upstairs lavatory gets as cold as the outside if my friend and I do not put any type of heating system in the lavatory. We have a small space heating system that my friend and I put in there, however it is still not entirely warm; although it keeps the lavatory above frigid. My husband is trying to find a way to run the heat from the heating system into the lavatory. Who knows why the builders did not run heat into the lavatory, however I sure hope my friend and I can figure out a way to get some heat there soon.

I entirely cherish sleeping in a cool home office.

• I entirely have gotten so used to sleeping in a cool home office that I cannot sleep without air conditioner on.

I live down south, plus it never genuinely gets cold, so I cannot just open the window plus let in cool air. I bought a new A/C for my room recently, plus it keeps my room so cool. I cherish walking into a cool home office when it is time to go to sleep. I do not like traveling because that means I have to stay in a room that is genuinely not as cool as mine is. I visit my parents every year around the holidays, plus I usually stay for about a week. I cherish seeing my family, but I never genuinely got a nice evening’s sleep while I was there. They did not have there A/C on of course because it was the end of December, but I am so used to having a cool room that I just cannot sleep without an A/C. Last Christmas, I decided to buy a portable A/C to bring with me to my parents house. I did not open the A/C until late the first evening when all the people was in bed. I could not figure out how to labor the thing. It took me ten minutes to get it on. I set it plus tried to go to sleep, but it was genuinely hot in my room all evening. The next afternoon I found out that I had the furnace on instead of the air conditioner. I did not even know that it could heat. I read the entire instruction manual the next afternoon, so I knew how to labor it, plus I have had no trouble sleeping at my parents since.

I am a little sad to hear how much it will cost to repair either of them.

I don’t know what has been going on with our temperature control lately, but I guess that it must be broken. It may be the furnace that is not laboring properly, but both my spouse and I guess that it is the temperature control. My buddy and I have it set to seventy degrees, but the house seems to stay at about sixty degrees. The furnace seems to kick on and off just fine, so that is why my friend and I guess it is very the temperature control and not the furnace. My spouse has been really tied up lately, so he has not had a lot of time to figure out the issue. He told me that I could go ahead and call a professional, so i did. I called a local Heating and A/C company, and they said that they could have someone come out tomorrow and check it out. I really hope that it is the temperature control and not the furnace because I guess it would be a lot cheaper to repair a temperature control than it would be to repair a furnace, but I could be wrong. I am a little sad to hear how much it will cost to repair either of them. Last time my friend and I had and Heating and A/C company come over and repair our air conditioner, it ended up costing us almost a thousand dollars! Needless to say, my friend and I were not very glad with how expensive it was. I really hope that whatever is wrong this time does not cost that much to fix. I wish that my spouse had more time off of work because he worked for an Heating and A/C company for a few years, and I bet he could figure out the issue and repair it.

I was so gleeful to go out to our cottage last week and spend a few days there with just my spouse.

It was going to be one of the first loving getaways that my friend and I had had in awhile.

It was quite cold, and there was honestly snow for the first time this year when my friend and I started our trip. My buddy and I were both very excited, and I can’t tell you how much my friend and I enjoyed the drive. When my friend and I arrived at the cottage, my friend and I were disappointed to find that it was cold in there. The furnace was not even running. My spouse went to the cottage about two days earlier to turn the water back on and turn the furnace on as well. He said that it was up to sixty degrees in there before he left, so the furnace was obviously laboring then. He tried to turn the furnace back on after my friend and I walked into a very cold cottage, but it would not turn on. He spent a few hours calling people that he thought would know something about boilers and also looking up videos online about what may have been wrong with it. My buddy and I spent half a afternoon there trying to repair it with no avail. My spouse felt so awful that he decided to get us a hotel room for a few days, so my friend and I could at least have some time away. My buddy and I ended up having to call an Heating and A/C company to come out and repair the furnace in our cottage, however even though our trip did not go as planned, I am so thrilled that my friend and I got to cherish ourselves at least a little bit.

My Grandma asked me to house lay for her a couple of weeks ago. I told her that I would do it, but to be honest, I was not looking forward to it. I cherish her house. It is an aged Victorian type house, and it is super particular . I wisht that my house had some of those aged features about it. The reason that I was not looking forward to it was because my Grandmother keeps her house very warm. When I say warm, I mean like eighty-five degrees. I can only imagine how much it cost to keep her house that moderate because it is pressing. I was so thrilled to get there and find that she had turned the heat down a little bit. It was around seventy-five degrees in the house, but her family room was still around eighty-five degrees. She had asked me not to change the temperature in her family room because the dog is used to that temperature, however she also asked me to make sure that I sleep in there with her dog, let me just say that it was the most irritated few weeks of my life. I ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch for the last week because I had had enough. I was not going to keep losing sleep just for her dog to feel more comfortable. I never told her that I didn’t sleep in there for the last week, and I don’t guess that I ever will. I cannot guess that she can sleep in an eighty-five degree room. I was tempted to turn the temperature control down to seventy and see what she would say, but I decided that was very a awful idea.
