I have nothing more than to see a professional at work. I think it’s pretty neat to see someone that has trained to do a job really well do what they’re good at. So when I was unlucky enough to have my air conditioning system breakdown in the middle of a hot summer day, of course I did what most sane people would do and I called a heating and AC specialist to come out and repair it for me so I could get it up and running as quickly as possible. It didn’t take long for the heat to quickly start rising in my house and it was becoming hot and uncomfortable very quickly. I could already start to feel the sweat starting to run down my skin and I was eager to think of having that cool air flowing and the house again. And all that would happen soon enough if I could just get the heating and AC guy to repair my air conditioning system. When the sky first came out I was a little bit worried about having him as my heating and AC repair person. This is just because he looks really young and I guess I underestimated him because I thought a young guy like that couldn’t possibly know what he was doing. I’ll admit when I say I’m biased towards older HVAC technicians. But this guy really did prove me wrong because he really knew his stuff. He was really smart and explained to me exactly how my heating and AC system worked, and told me in great detail about what he was going to do to fix it. Then he let me watch him work and within only a half an hour he was finished. I was really impressed and I feel bad for misjudging him.

How do you know if you’ve chosen the Right Heating and cooling system? I think you know if you’ve chosen the correct heating and AC system depending on how well it works for you. Like for example when I first chose my very first heating and air conditioning system I thought I had the right one that was for me but it actually wasn’t the one I should have gotten. I bought a window air conditioning system but what I really should have gone for was the ductless mini split ac! This is because a ductless mini split AC in my area is only a little bit more than the window air conditioning system and yet it has way more features. Window air conditioning system is so basic and while it did cool my house, it didn’t do it as well as the ductless mini split air conditioning system did. I know this because I ended up returning the window AC system and used the money for the return to purchase the ductless mini split air conditioner instead. Sometimes, you have to try a few different Heating and a/c products before you find one that really works for you. But trust me when I say that once you find the right one you’re set for life, at least I know that this air conditioning system that I’m using right now has a long life span and so I shouldn’t have to worry about replacing it or repairing it for quite a while.

My brother is always needing help with his heating and air conditioning system. It is actually really annoying because he wouldn’t be having these issues with his heating and air conditioning system if he would just take care of it like he is supposed to! He has been told not only by me, but also by the heating and AC specialists that always get stuck coming out to fix his badly broken heating and air conditioning system that this entire situation could be avoided if he would just take proper care of his heating and air conditioning system. But my brother, as much as I hate to say it, is a cheapskate. Oh how many times he has convinced me or another family member of mine to pay his repairs bill for him, not because he genuinely cannot afford it but because he just doesn’t want to pay the bill. Well, guess what no one likes paying bills but it is part of life. I have explained this to him and he is just so hard headed and refuses to listen. His poor HVAC system will have a small repair that needs fixing, he doesn’t fix it. So over time the damage becomes more and more severe until a small problem has now turned into a big problem that can no longer be ignored. Then his HVAC unit breaks down entirely and he whines and complains about it, even though he has been told a million times to have it maintained and tuned up and this won’t happen. But he refuses so of course it breaks down entirely and then he is forced to face the problem. But instead of doing what he should do, and that is pay for it to be repaired and maintained, he pleads with the family to do it for him. Not because he cannot afford it but because he just doesn’t want to. It is very irritating.

When I was a kid and I was thinking about what I wanted to do when I grew up I never in a million years would have thought I ended up as a heating and cooling technician. Now don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with heating and AC workers. Their work is very important and should be recognized and appreciated. It is just that back then, I had so many different things that I wanted to be that becoming a heating and cooling worker just was something that never crossed my mind. At that age I hardly knew what a real heating and AC system was! All I knew back then was that when I was hot the house was magically always cold, even when it was hot outside. When it was icy cold during the winter months the house was always warm. I didn’t know and I didn’t care how it worked, as long as I was comfortable that was all that mattered to me. When I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor, a firefighter, a policeman, a superhero, and at one point a fly! Yes I wanted to be a fly when I was a kid so I could land on walls and spy on people. I was convinced I could too. The imaginations of children right!? But when I did become a grown up, life took me in a different direction than I had planned. It started when I was in high school and they had a woodshop program and I loved it. I loved it so much I still carve in my spare time. But it taught me how much I loved making and repairing things and eventually that led me to becoming the heating and AC specialist that I am today. The best part is I love my job and will not be retiring for a long time!

I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I left high school and I definitely didn’t think that I was going to end up working as a contractor.

I wanted to work with my hands, and I ended up at a technical school. At first I was learning the trade of welding, but I did not find it to be very interesting. I decided to switch in the middle of a semester and I went to a program that taught plumbing and heating and air conditioning work. I learned a lot of information in a very short amount of time. When I was finished with all of my classes, I easily passed the test. I had a hard time getting a job, because no one wanted to hire a person fresh out of school with absolutely zero experience in the heating and AC repair industry. It took too much to find a job and then I had to work in the retail office before they would give me a shot working on repairs or installation jobs. The commercial heating and AC repair business was very well known in the community. I finally got my chance to work as a full-service heating and AC repair technician and last month I started working alone. I didn’t have any problems at all the first week, but the second week I was at a commercial repair and I was trying to figure out what was wrong with the boiler. I was having a lot of issues and the customer was getting upset that I couldn’t fix the problem. I had to call someone else to come down and help me figure things out.
