If there is one thing that I really like doing for other people at a surprising them. I just absolutely love the look on their faces when they get something that they were not expecting. I decided to get my wife a gift and surprise her with it. The longest time now she’s been needing a brand new air conditioning system. We didn’t use a central AC in our house because we were looking to save money on our energy bills and so she just used a ductless mini split air conditioning system. This AC system has served her well for a very long time but age is catching up to it and it’s starting to work less efficiently than it did in the past. She had been talking over and over about getting a new one and so I figured why not surprise her, her birthday was coming up anyways and it would be a great idea! I decided to take a stop to my local heating and AC corporation and see what HVAC products they had available for sale. I knew what I was looking for but I wasn’t sure on the specific type of air conditioning system I was going to get. I figured maybe it would be best just to get her another Ductless mini split AC. When I went there I asked the heating and cooling worker if they had any discounts on the Ductless Mini split AC systems. I was informed that while I didn’t have any specific cells for that item, they did have a price reduction if you were a new customer. I was a new customer to this heating and cooling business and so I got a free 20% discount! My wife’s birthday I had a surprise her by wrapping it up real big move. She was thrilled when she saw the new air conditioning system and she hasn’t stopped using it since I got it for her.

I know that it is something that every single Heating and cooling technician would advise against but I attempted to repair my air conditioning system myself. It was a Saturday afternoon when I was relaxing in Washington TV just enjoying my free time when I noticed at the house started to get hot. I have a smart thermostat and so all I had to do was check the temperature of the house on my app on the phone. When I opened it I saw the temperature was much higher than what it should be and so I went over to the thermostat to see what was going on only realized the air conditioner wasn’t working. I knew that I would have to call a heating and AC business to come out and try to service it but I didn’t really have the money at the time and I didn’t want to deal with it so I did what anybody would do when they don’t want to pay money for something but when it fixed. I tried to repair it myself. This ended up being a horrible mistake because not only did I nearly injured myself but I had almost damaged my air conditioning system further. In the end I got stuck paying for the AC Bill anyways and so from then on I decided to just go with the heat and AC professionals. As long as I can fix my heating and cooling system and I still have the air conditioner to enjoy I suppose I don’t mind paying money to have it fixed. Even if I would have preferred being successful and fixing it myself.

What do you do when you’ve done everything you can to take care of the indoor air quality problem and nothing else is working.

Well, you have to bring out the big guns. I recently purchased an old home and it is filled to the brim with layers of dust, dirt, and all kinds of general grime. I’m not exaggerating when I say there is quite literally layers of dust lining all of the old furniture that was left in the house. There are some dirt and grimey stuff on the floor. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the house, it has a lot of potential but until it has a some serious cleanup it will not be something that I can live in. So my husband and I has been spending all 5 days of the week working away at getting the house cleaned up. It was during this time that we discovered that even though we were making good progress cleaning it the indoor air quality had not changed that much from when we first visited the home. This is a problem because it should be improving with the house being more clean. We tried a few standing air purifiers to try to take care of the issue but to know avail. That is when my husband got this brilliant idea, we just purchase a whole home air verification system. That should take care of the indoor air quality for sure. Two of us both agreed that this is the best course of action and so we hired a heating and AC business to install a whole home air purification system for us. What’s the combination of the system and the deep cleaning of the house we should have good indoor air quality in no time.

This is the exact situation I’m having with my dog.

I have absolutely love my dog but he is really doing a number on my brand new air purifier. I do not have major indoor air quality problems in my home but I like the idea of having a air purifier for a peace of mind. If I know that I have any air purifier in my home I can relax much more knowing that my indoor air quality is as clean as I can possibly get it. It is very important to me that I live in a clean and fresh home because of my pets and my children. I know that if you have bad indoor air qualities there are all kinds of dirt, germs, and viruses that you can introduce into your home and I want my home to be a safe spot that is free from as much bacteria as possible. As long as it is clean, we should all be healthy. However it’s good to keep the air clean if the air purifier is being destroyed. My dog wants to charge towards the air purification system full speed and then knock it over and then proceeds to chew on it. I have had to scold him and then lock him up in the crate just to get him to stop but now my air purifier has two marks and dents in it. I have a feeling I don’t have to get another one soon.

I have always considered myself to be a very clean person but recently in my house has been having a lot of strange smells that I just cannot explain.

The strange thing is that I cannot find the smell in one single room, I can walk anywhere around in my house and it will be there.

The smell seems to drift everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It’s like I cannot pinpoint the exact location of where it is. I have thrown away all the trash, did deep cleaning of the whole house and that smell still lingers. I was trying to really get concerned because I was worried about my family and myself breathing in this bad odor. I know how good or bad indoor air quality can impact how your health is. It was then that my husband brought up that maybe we should call the HVAC technician and make sure it wasn’t something that had to do with the heating and cooling system. I just went over to the thermostat and didn’t seem like it would be anything like that. The thermostat looks fine, the AC looks fine. But with nothing being found I figured we had to try something and so I agreed. We got into contact with a local heating and air conditioning company and asked for them heating and air conditioning technician and try to find the sources of problem. When the heat and AC guy arrives it took him no time to find where the smell was coming from. It was from the air ducts! He asked us when was the last time the air ducts had been cleaned was and I was embarrassed to tell him that I didn’t know. But he didn’t seem to mind and he quickly cleaned their air ducts and got rid of the smell.
