Even though I am not trained in any sort of major beach house repairs, I suppose care about I should be able to do things such as repair my gas furnace and my air conditioning plan for some reason.

I entirely need to stop being such a total control freak when it comes to things around my house. For some reason, I have an entirely rough time calling someone else and asking them for help me whenever I’m having any issue with something going wrong in my house. If anything ever needs to be repaired, I suppose that I need to do it all by myself. I’m not entirely sure where I get this personality trait from. Neither 1 of my folks were similar to that at all. They would always call a repairman to come to the house to repair stuff. I remember how our house always having someone in it fixing something. Both of us had repair techs from the appliance store, from the electricians, and from the heating and cooling company over to our home all the time. It seemed care about every one of us were always having something break in our house. Now that I’m an adult, I suppose that I need to be doing all those sorts of things myself. Even though I am not trained in any sort of major beach house repairs, I suppose care about I should be able to do things such as repair my gas furnace and my air conditioning plan for some reason. Needless to say, I have watched a whole ton of how-to videos in my time! There are videos out there for just about everything, but occasionally you will need a professional. I can’t keep on being such a control freak about beach house repairs, that’s 100% for sure. One of these mornings here soon, I am entirely going to have to call and book an appointment with an actual certified Heating and Air Conditioning worker.

That’s a ton of money for my grandparents and I honestly can’t believe they are even going through with the plans

My grandfather built his house with his own two hands back in the 1950s. The guy has always been proud of his home. It looked like a time capsule from the past for a long time. Over the past couple of years, my grandparents have worked hard to make some changes and updates to the property. The reservations will make it easier for them to eventually sell. I honestly hope they leave it to me in the will, but I understand if they want to sell it. I love the house and I think it is perfect. My parents and I were visiting a couple of weeks ago and we found out that they are finally ready to update the house with central heat and AC. Since the house was built in the sixties, it did not have central heat or Central AC. This was always Troublesome, because the temperatures were really warm and uncomfortable during the summer. Even though they had a couple of window air conditioners, the large and massive square footage of the house made it impossible to cool with anything other than Central AC. My grandparents told my dad and I about the price tag for the job and my jaw nearly hit the ground. To have the central heat and AC installed with new ductwork is going to be a $25,000 project. That’s a ton of money for my grandparents and I honestly can’t believe they are even going through with the plans. I never thought they would spend that much money on Renovations and repairs. They must really be serious about selling the house.

I had some work completed in my home by a licensed contractor from a local HVAC business. I needed some repairs completed on the radiant heated flooring in the master bedroom and bathroom. The cost for the repairs was significant. I saw a copy of the bill before some changes were made. The other bill came in the mail and I was very surprised by the amount. The total for the charges didn’t add up to the amount they still wanted me to pay. I contacted the HVAC service company and I was asked to call back the next day to speak with their business affairs department. That seemed reasonable, but I was upset that I didn’t have anyone to help me that day. I called back the next day and got a voicemail. I left a message and the person called me back an hour later. I explained the situation with the charges and the estimate. The woman in the accounting office asked me to hold on the line. She was gone for a long time, but she came back to the line with great news. She found the other invoice and apologized for changing the numbers. The bill was off, because she mixed up a 6 and a 9. The mistake was entirely due to the bookkeeper and not an issue with the HVAC service team at all. The bookkeeper fixed the billing error and apologized several times for making the mistake and causing the problem. I didn’t mind the error as long as they fixed it and credited my account.

One of our regular customers called the HVAC repair center on Thursday, because she didn’t have any heat in the house and she said there was a strange smell coming from the ductwork.

• When a customer has a gas furnace, our first thought is always going to be a gas leak when a customer says that they smell something strange.

We urged the customer to get out of the house or call the fire department. She turned off the heating and air conditioning system and the hot water heater. I arrived at the property a couple hours after the customer requested help with the furnace. I evaluated their system and checked all of the regular places where problems occur. As soon as I removed the furnace air filter, I realized that’s where the smell was coming from. The furnace filter was covered with dog hair. I asked the lady if she had a dog and she told me that she was pet sitting for a friend during the last two weeks. I showed the woman all of the dog hair that had accumulated on the furnace filter. She was horrified and disgusted, but it really wasn’t that bad. I’ve seen a lot worse in a number of homes and apartments. I recommended changing the furnace filter more frequently, because there was also a buildup of dust and other allergens on the air filter. I only charged a minimum service fee since there really wasn’t a problem that needed to be repaired. It’s always nice to build good customer relations with our regular customers.

I went to the casino with the ladies on Friday night and I lost big.

I was up about $400 until lunch time when the ladies and I went for seafood.

The full belly made me want to gamble more loosely. Instead of playing the nickel slots, I moved to the slots that cost at least one quarter for each pool of the handle. I started betting five times as much as I was before lunch and I really went through the money quickly. I went home at the end of the day and had to tell my husband about all of the money that I lost playing the slots. Looked really upset when I started telling him about my loss, so I started to blame everything and anything I could think of. I blamed the casino for having tight slots and I blamed my bad luck on being too cold. I told my husband that the air conditioner was making me lose concentration because it was just too cold. My husband didn’t buy any of the excuses, including the terrible one that I made up about the air conditioner. On Saturday night, I went back to the casino but this time I decided to play in a poker tournament. It was extremely cold that night too and I was seated under an AC air vent. Every time I had a good hand, I couldn’t bluff because my hands were shaking. I really did have the air conditioner to blame for that loss, but there was no way I could use that as an excuse two days in a row.
