I had some work completed in my home by a licensed business from a local Heating & Air Conditioning business. I needed some repairs completed on the radiant heated flooring in the master home office & washroom. The cost for the repairs was significant. I saw a copy of the bill before some swings were made. The other bill came in the mail & I was particularly surprised by the amount. The total for the charges did not add up to the amount they still wanted me to pay. I contacted the Heating & Air Conditioning service supplier & I was asked to call back the next morning to speak with their business affairs department. That seemed satisfactory, although I was aggravated that I did not have anyone to help me that morning. I called back the next morning & got a voictext. I left a message & the person called me back an hour later. I explained the situation with the charges & the estimate. The woman in the accounting office asked me to hold on the line. She was gone for a long time, although she came back to the line with good news. She found the other invoice & apologized for decreasing the numbers. The bill was off, because she mixed up a 6 & a 9. The mistake was really due to the bookkeeper & not an issue with the Heating & Air Conditioning service team at all. The bookkeeper fixed the billing error & apologized many times for making the mistake & causing the problem. I did not mind the error as long as they fixed it & credited my account.
I found the hotel to be ancient & dirty
I was completely & totally unimpressed with the accommodations that my partner & I had the last time every one of us stayed in a hotel.
I was so aggravated that I wanted us to leave in the middle of the night.
My partner was tired & wanted to get some sleep, otherwise every one of us would have gone back home a morning early. As soon as every one of us arrived at the hotel, I found the locale to be ancient & dirty. I did not suppose the pictures online have been replaced in a particularly long time. I wanted to cancel our reservations when I saw our room & the Heating & Air Conditioning component that looked to be at least 10 years old. Every time the component came on, the room filled with an terrible stench that nearly knocked me out. It was awful. I called the manager to complain about the Heating & Air Conditioning plan & the guy seemed enjoy he did not really care that every one of us had an issue. He did not offer to switch our room & he did not offer to send someone to help. His response to my problem was to say that these kinds of complications can happen from time to time because the component is old. I already knew the problem was happening because of the age of the Heating & Air Conditioning unit, so I did not need the guy to tell me that information. When I got off the iphone with the front desk clerk, I told my partner that every one of us were going to pack up our bags & leave. That’s when she said that every one of us weren’t going to leave, because she was tired & needed to get some rest.
It's hard to have a roommate
After I lost my job while I was in the quarantine, I had a hard time finding something.
I used all of my savings to pay my rent, automobile payment, & gas bill.
I did not have a lot of money left over for anything, so I had to find a roommate abruptly. One of my ancient co-workers named Jack provided to move into the seventh home office in my lake house & share the rent 50/50. The guy was still living at home with his parents so it was a fantastic transition to make, because he wasn’t going to be alone, however he was still sort of on his own. His mom & Dad paid the security deposit & many weeks rent when he moved into the apartment. I enjoy Jack a lot, although I have honestly noticed some behaviors that drive me crazy, jack prefers the indoor un-even temperatures much colder than me. I normally have the control component temperature set at 70 degrees. The morning Jack moved in, he made a comment about living in a steam room. I thought he was joking, but obviously he was telling the truth. Every morning when I wake up after Jack, I adjust the control component from 79° back up to 70 degrees. This has been going on for the past few weeks. I don’t think all of the shifts in temperature are fantastic for the control component or the a/c, although I don’t want to confrontation with my current roommate when the guy just moved in. The indoor temperature seems enjoy such a trivial thing to argue about when 1 of us can put on a sweatshirt or put on a pair of shorts.
I lost particularly bad on Monday evening and I blame the AC
I went to the casino with the ladies on Monday evening and I lost big.
- I was up about $400 until supper time when the ladies and I went for seafood.
The full belly made myself and others want to gamble more loosely. Instead of playing the nickel slots, I moved to the slots that cost at least one quarter for each pool of the handle. I started betting more than four times as much as I was before supper and I particularly went through the money hastily. I went home at the end of the afternoon and had to tell my spouse about all of the money that I lost playing the slots. Looked particularly frustrated when I started telling him about my loss, so I started to blame everything and anything I could suppose of. I blamed the casino for having tight slots and I blamed my bad luck on being too cold. I told my spouse that the cooling system was making myself and others lose concentration because it was just too cold. My spouse did not buy any of the excuses, including the terrible one that I made up about the cooling system. On Monday evening, I went back to the casino however this time I decided to play in a poker tournament. It was severely frigid that evening too and I was seated under an A/C air vent. Every time I had a good hand, I couldn’t bluff because my hands were shaking. I particularly did have the cooling system to blame for that loss, however there was no way I could use that as an excuse more than one mornings in a row.
