I’m fully convinced that my dad is really gonna love his birthday gift that I got for him this year.

• Usually I don’t know what to get for him because he is kind of hard to buy for.

However, this year, I was really inspired about what I wanted to get for him. For a while now, he has been complaining about the thermostat system in his house. I have heard him talk about it several times. He keeps saying that he needs to get a new thermostat system but he just hasn’t had the time to call up the local heating and cooling company and have them come out to do it. Of course, that’s where I come in! When I found out that he wanted to get a new thermostat system but he didn’t have time to do it, I knew right then that that’s what I should get for him. One thing about my dad is that he never talks about anything like that unless it’s something that he really wants or needs. So whenever he said that he needed a new thermostat unit, I immediately went out and bought one for him that I thought he would like. I guess I just really wanted to do something for him that I thought would actually make him happy for once. My dad is notorious for returning birthday and Christmas gifts. He never seems to like anything that anyone ever gets him, so I thought that this might be my one chance to finally get him a gift that he would actually like!

The heat wasn’t working correctly the other day when I went to get my teeth cleaned at the dentist.

I am one of those people who is always putting off going to the dentist for one reason or another.

I never think that I really need to go and get my teeth cleaned unless my mouth is hurting for some reason. By then, it’s usually too late and I end up having to have dental work done. Procrastination is not a good thing, but for some reason I always put off going to get my teeth looked at. I just really hate going to the dentist. Anyway, the other day I learned another good reason to hate going to the dentist. The weather outside that day was really cold, and I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. I used my heating system in my car on full blast the whole way there, and I was still really cold when I got there. I figured that it would be OK once I got inside because I could get cozy in the dentist chair and get my teeth worked on. Well, that was not the case at all. Apparently, the furnace in the building where the dentist’s office is was broken down that day and it was freezing cold inside of his office. It was so cold in there that I can’t believe that they even stayed open! I really feel like they should have called me to reschedule my appointment because everyone was sitting around in their winter coats and it was miserable. Honestly, it was hard for me to get my teeth cleaned because they were chattering because I was shivering so hard. Next time I go to the dentist, I’m gonna call ahead and make sure that their furnace is working.

I think that working on a farm in the winter is much harder than working on a farm in the summer. I mean, I like air conditioning during the summertime just as much as the next person. However, the problem in the winter is that it’s so much harder to get warmed up than it is to cool off whenever you’re working out on the property on the farm. We have been having a really cold winter this year, and we have had record low temperatures. Out on the farm, whenever I’m working in the fields during the winter, repairing things and looking at fences and things like that, it gets to be freezing cold. The temperatures are sometimes in the teens and a few times they have even been down below zero. It’s really hard to work out there in the cold whenever the temperatures are that low! Believe me, the only thing that I’m thinking about on days like that is getting back to the main office area so that I can sit by the heating unit and get thawed out. I know that everyone who works out there has the same kind of problem. Even though informed vehicles have heating systems in them,it doesn’t do very much to fight against the cold wind whipping around you when you’re outside walking the fence line. I love my job, but I’m ready for the weather to start heating up again, that’s for sure. I hope that the weather breaks soon because I am definitely ready for the sun.

I have cold feet all the time now that I’m getting older and it’s really driving me crazy.

I hate the way that I’m always thinking about my freezing cold feet.

I actually ended up talking to my doctor about it the last time I had a check up because I’m starting to wonder if there’s something wrong with my circulation! I don’t know, but it’s really annoying and it’s starting to make me and my husband get into fights. I always want to turn the heating system up because I like the way the heat feels when it’s blowing out of the air vents onto my feet. However, the heating bills have really skyrocketed ever since I started having this problem. Not only that, but my husband is constantly complaining about the fact that the house is too hot during the winter. Last week, I found him in the bedroom with the windows cracked so he could get a cool breeze. He said that he felt like he was suffocating because the house felt like the inside of a furnace to him. The whole thing is causing a lot of stress in our marriage and in our house, and I know that we need to do something about it. I have been looking up different ways to help us, and I have come up with something called radiant heated flooring. I think that if we have radiant heated flooring installed in our house, at least in a few rooms, it could really solve all of our problems. I am going to make an appointment with the local HVAC company and see what kind of deal we can get on that type of heating system.

My dad sent me to the home improvement store the other day when he was working on my furnace for me.

My dad is great.

He knows how to fix just about anything that you could throw at him, and he always comes over and does it all over my home improvement stuff for me. It doesn’t matter whether it’s an electrical problem, a plumbing problem, or something going wrong with one of my appliances. My dad always knows how to fix it, and if he doesn’t then he will spend hours trying to figure it out for me. This is great for me, because I never have to pay anybody to do any of the home repairs around my house for me. Plus, I really like spending all of the extra time with my dad. I don’t know that he would admit it, but I think he actually likes being in all of the extra time around here with me too. Last week, my electric furnace stopped working and I could not figure out what the problem was with it. At first I thought it was an issue with the thermostat, but I changed the batteries in the thermostat and it seemed to be working fine. Since the heating system still would not turn on, I called up my dad and he came right over with his toolbox. He figured out what the issue was, but he needed a part from the local home improvement store so he sent me to town while he was working on the furnace. Unfortunately for me and for him, I don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to anything that comes to home improvement. I could not find the part that he needed and it took me forever to find an employee to help me find it. We ended up calling my dad and using video chat so he could tell me what he needed.
